If we had a 2010 VUKOTA proj for Semin I think that would be more useful since we are paying for future stats, which in turn generates future wins.

Agreed, the challenge with NHL stats is the lack of them in an easily digestible format.

Nate Silver wrote a great article “Is Alex Rodriguez Overpaid” which could prob be ported to this argument, but again, we need current/future VUKOTA
