I don't know, seemed to me as if there was a knee thrown out towards Greenie. But, this is coming from a big time Greener fan. No doubt, when he got hit, I was about ready to walk to DC myself; which wouldn't nearly be too far of a walk for me anyway, and when Green stayed down on the ice, after about a second of him not moving around..well let's just say I was about to grab the closest object I could that would make damage. I was very shocked to see he came back out to the bench, shocked and very glad.

The Panthers..honestly..I didn't expect much from them. I saw the 9th straight win happen, before the game started. Of course, I could have assumed that Knuble would be rushing right to the net when the puck dropped. I really thought he could get the hat-trick with only a few minutes left. Then with time passing by, he got a penalty, and all I could say.."There goes his chance at the hat-trick, oh well, maybe next time."
Regardless, it was a good game, I'd say. Florida could have played better, hell..I think both teams could have at some points in the game. But, a win is a win, and I'll surely take it and love it.

Oh, and Schultz getting a goal, wow..right? Let's get one for Theo, if he starts on Sunday, and one for Neuvy his next game, and of course when Varly comes back, he will get himself one as well. Scoring from the whole team would surely take on a new meaning, from the offense, all the way back to the goal tending.

"passes toward Arlington or Oxon Hill rather than to a target" Haha. Good one.

The Panthers did seem to blow their opportunities as often as Michal snuffed them out.

And I'm hoping Theo starts on Sunday instead of Neuvi.

Neuvy was great when he had to be in that first period, but the Panthers beat themselves (heh, heh). They set up numerous attacks that if a team that was actually, like, good, had created, would have been goals - or at least, shots on goal. But Florida flubbed their odd man rushes, often sending wayward passes toward Arlington or Oxon Hill rather than to a target. The Caps' defensive zone coverage in that period was awful, but Neuvy stepped up when called upon.

Luckily for us, Florida is so bad without the likes of Booth and Horton, that Neuvy wasn't called upon more - he should have been based on the opportunities that were there.
