I don't know about cancelling the game, but postponing even an hour or so would probably be a good idea. Before I bought my Amtrak tickets so that I can get to and from DC, I would be tending more towards "cancel" than "not cancel," but honestly, I don't think forcing athletes to make trips like this is a good idea. Terrible things happen even in "normal" conditions (Marshall University, Bluffton University), so why take chances? Obviously, I'm not a Pens fan, but I hope they have a safe trip here. It would be devastating to the NHL for something to happen, and for what? Because NBC won't budge on the starting time of the game? I really hope that's not the case.
