The Bears played in Capitals sweaters as part of a promotion and post-game charity auction. They frequently wear special jerseys that honor the military or raise awareness for things like cancer research. The sweaters are auctioned after the game or part of a raffle to raise money for the charity. After the way they played wearing the Caps jersey, I say they should do it more often!

It was a special promotion – “Washington Capitals Night” so they wore Caps jerseys and then auctioned them off after the game.

fyi–the first photos weren’t from a pre-game event, rather the post-game jersey auction. Aucoin’s jersey went for $1550
