Great game tongight by Ovie, Knuble, Varly and Backstrom. It was still iffy after 2 periods, but Varly kept the the Caps in it until they took over in the 3rd period. One of Ovie’s goals was on the PP so that drought is finally over.

Speaking of Ovie, what’s up with the hard hat covered with numbers that he wore in his post-game comments to the media? He’s a flake for sure, but you gotta love a guy who marches to the beat of his own drummer.
