Im glad we got some afternoon games this year. Its a lot easier to take the kids to those games. Pit in Feb. and Chi. in March should be worth getting tickets to. Wonder how much more $$$ it will be this year….

Yes this is a difficult schedule but could be a blessing in disguise. Playing in the Pantywaist, I mean Southeast Division and piling up the points in the regular season can, and probably did, give the Caps a false sense of how good they are and what they need to do to win. Maybe this kind of schedule will better prepare them for the playoffs, maybe they won’t clinch their division so early, and maybe they will be playing more meaningful games late in the season. If the team can Cap-italize on the regular season schedule gauntlet thrown down by the NHL, they could reap big rewards in the second season when it really counts.

It’s definitely not an easy one, but there’s no reason, as long as we are playing smart, tough hockey we can’t make it through this! I’m with Stevie K, come April the razors will be put on the shelf, but they better be ready this year. History has shown us. . . well you know! Bring on October ! ! !
