    NHLPA should file grievance. If NHL wins grievance then Kovy plays in KHL. NHL loses good player.

    I don’t see the issue with the contract – NFL contracts regularly dance around the salary cap, with rule-benders such as “unlikely to be achieved” incentives and converting roster bonuses to signing bonuses.

    Also, I’m a little upset to see the Devils NOT have to ridiculously overpay for “the OTHER Russian superstar.”
