A+ deal. A lot of people judge Flash one way or the other based on paper stats. But paper stats don't record the -types- of individual statistics that make Fleishmann stand out. While it's noted that he's a 20+ goal scorer, what's not tallied is those clutch performances that swing the momentum of a game, or a backcheck that leads to turnovers. It's great to see the amount of goals, working for him, but he's worth the 2.6 million and more in the -types- of goals, assists, general performance(s) he puts up. If only he could take that play into the post-season....

Steal. Breakout year coming for Flash. Regular season numbers have been steadily improving, and last year's playoff series was an anomaly for most of the team, so I really don't think it's fair to judge off that. I think GMGM is basically telling Flash he's got one year to prove himself if he wants to get paid what his agent thinks he's worth.

$2.6M for Flash is a good deal. Thoughts were that $2.8-3M was likely. My hope is that he'll end up being good enough to be trade bait, without being so good that GMGM is hesitant to trade him. He has plenty of value to teams who need goal scoring, but already have a good defense.
