Thanks from me too for posting this. I don’t have HBO, but will order it for the minimum 30 days so I can watch this preview plus the four part series on the Winter Classic.

I’m hoping HBO will do right by the Caps/Pens rivalry and not make any pre-conceived bias obvious when the final product airs.

1. I definitely noticed the opening with the puck going by Varly and into the net so…not impressed.

2. Em, I completely agree. I’m not a very anti-Pens fan, but when Max Talbot came on screen I was engulfed with rage. Maybe he should spend more time trying to get on Ovie’s level (haha ok can’t take that thought seriously) instead of spending time bashing Ovie in a desperate and pathetic attempt to get some attention.

3. Also, I can’t be the only one that thinks that Crosby’s voice sounds like he just witnessed a thousand cats getting slaughtered.

Pittsburgh bias.

Too much use of soft focus / oddball lighting. WAY too much.

Did anyone else notice most of the Caps’ footage was from practice, while most of the Pens’ footage was from games?
