We may yet hear of forwards being called up. Surprised all the lady fans haven’t offered to supply Brooksie with chicken soup yet.

Bruce (and various fans) had said that Semin and Backstrom looked terrible yesterday. As in very listless. Guess they were coming down with the flu.

Sounds like flu is going around – my kid woke up with it at 2:30 am. (Why is it always in the middle of the night?) I don’t think he’s been hanging around the guys though.

@Peter Hassett: thanks so much for the humor to help move the dark clouds of doom and gloom away. My own personal prescription for remaining positive in the wake of yet another Caps disappointing game has been refilled.
