The crapetude of the first period was troubling, with the Caps looking to make fancy-pants plays instead of working hard and getting to the net. I’m glad they figured something out over the second half of the game. The win was much needed.

Also, it was cool having Ian join me and my fellow 415 Lounge neighbors for most of the 3rd. Don’t be a stranger!
