Seems to be early validation that a solid 2nd line center to play with Semin (as opposed to trading Semin for) was the right way to go. Of course – the line WILL get changed – probably in the first round of the playoffs when they pull our starting goalie.

Bringing me of course to BB. I’m not sure his “furiousness” behind the bench (while merited) really accomplishes much other than making him look like he’s not in control. And while I appreciate him being affable – I’m also not sure acknowledging he changes lines up alot is wise.

Frankly, I’ve lost alot of confidence in BB this season and wouldn’t be upset at all if the first post-season change is sending him back to Hershey. Of course, he could lead this team to a Cup, in which case he’ll be a hero – but barring that – BB is on borrowed time as far as I’m concerned.

Another excellent recap. I love these lines. BBBB has done a good job of integrating the new guys into lines where they’ll best fit. Was a great game to watch, save for a few defensive breakdowns, which just happened tot urn into Blues’ goals.

In other news, I hate being an editor as my day job, because it takes all the fun out of reading, well, anything.

I was AT the game!! YAY … my first game of the season.

Here’s one thing I’d add to your highlights. Because I love all the rest of them …

Wideman was a beast at blocking shots when he was on the ice. I don’t know what his stats were for the night, but there were a bunch of times when he stole shots from a Blues player … I mean just robbed them.

Loved watching him play …
