He was undrafted and so he can’t have any affiliation with the pro clubs until he decides his NCAA career is over. I’ve heard rumors that Caps MAY have verbal agreement to sign a deal this year. In the interview to Ravings of a Rink Rebel blog he said that signing with the Caps will be “a question to answer when [contract offer] comes my way”. Definitely want this guy to be a Cap.

I had a question about Andy Miele. I know he’s having a Hobey Baker worthy season in Miami, and I know he played really well as an invitee to the dev. camp last summer. Unfortunately, I also know the Caps have no rights to this player. I was wondering if they have any sort of plan of signing him at the end of the college season, I’d really like to see him here!
