I hope someone taught Murray a lesson later in that game – a line brawl is one thing but you shouldn’t let him get away with taking it up a notch like he did.

Also, my roommate’s boyfriend thought that Matti P. was initially taken out of the Caps’ lineup because he didn’t fight back against the Pens when Mike Green was re-injured from the puck to the head. I’m not sure that I believe this theory, but either way, this post is a definite answer to the question of whether Perrault can/will initiate a fight.

The goaltenders almost went at it. Frazee got into the middle of it before the ref pulled him out and Schaefer had started down but stopped at about the blue line when Frazee returned to the crease.

If only Braden had been there!
