Sweet! I hope we can draft him come 2012 NHL draft! If Sasha leaves for any reason, we have Gailev, Kuznetsov and maybe Yakupov! Orlov might be with us when the time comes though.

say Avs get 5th overall pick….would it be possible for the caps to trade their 1st pick(brobably late 20′s overall) + 5th overall for the 1st overall pick that would be yakupov? And if its technically possible, how likely would it be?

I can’t even imagine the domination that would come from a line with any combination of him on our top 2. It’s blowing my mind. Ovechkin-Backstrom-Yakupov? Semin-Mojo-Yakupov? Ovechkin-Kuznetsov-Yakupov? Yes, please.
