Yeah, I was mystified by the line swapping and Eakin benching, and a little pissed about it too. I’m a BB fan, but am I actually running out of patience? The guy showed up and we were instantly better, but I’m not a Matty P fan, and Eakin earned another sweater. I’m really frustrated right now, I just don’t know why he changed anything up after such a good game in carolina.

Veteran goaltenders still have bad games. But veteran goaltenders don’t blow games against the Oilers and the Islanders, and 2/3 of the shots for two periods against the Ducks on home ice. The Caps may have only lost three, but they’re winning in spite of their goaltending with Vokoun in the net. Half of the wins are only possible because the offense is churning. What happens when they start slumping…such as the HBO special last year? If they start going from 3-4 goals per game to 1-2, they’re in trouble. This isn’t NJ, and Vokoun isn’t Marty (marty of old…new marty seems like he’s had it).

Come on Vokoun stop with these easy goals squeeze the puck and stop trying to play it all the time tired of this goals from behind the net, long slap shots through the five hole or squeeze through and the net is wide open your better that that. This Coach need to stop this crap with switching the Lines ever other game. Let them get some chemistry. Cody Eakin Goal and an Assist and he’s a healthy scratch what are you doing? Don’t get BB always changing things it happens every year. Think it’s time for a change in coaching staff instead of the lines.
