I think Carlson and Alzner are having the same issues Shultz has. They simply can’t adjust from a zone-defense to a man on man. It’s always a 2 on 1 or a D lost in the woods and a goal from blown coverage with these guys, not really sure why. The nice thing about man on man D is that it’s blatantly obvious when someone misses their mark, because someone’s wide open.

Eric, I’ll never plan a trip to California when the Caps are playing there. Chances of disappointment are just too great. At this point, I don’t even plan to EVER stay up again for a West Coast game involving the Caps, especially during the week.
