2 things: Does Stamkos look like Spicolli? and was that last “near goal” a high stick? I thought the deflection was about ear high.

Good game except for the last 3 minutes. Stamkos should have been out of the game for instigating. Kind of hard to boot the league’s scoring leader I guess.

Yep. What’s more important is that he’s improving his defensive play/teamwork, in my opinion. Tracking back to defend, forechecking, takeaways, hits, blocking shots. Goals come easier than those things for Semin, and they’ll be back once he finishes settling into Dale’s rhythm. I think it’s eluded a lot of people that he’s only averaging one minor every 3 games.

wow I don’t know what is more adorable, the puppies with Brouwer or the Semin hug.

Speaking of Semin, he played smart tonight and instead of whiffing on 2 empty nets, he hit the crossbar twice. Maybe next game he’ll bring it all together and score 2 real goals
