If you hit the goalie whether by accident or on purpose it is by definition goalie interference. Probably should of been a penalty on Sturm, but I was okay with the non-call. It’s clear that Sturm didn’t have any malicious thoughts but rather tripped accidentally. I’m a huge Caps fan but this was just an unfortunate accident and that’s why there was no call.
