Well stated! I’m angry at the owners because I think it’s garbage not to honor a contract you wrote. They are punishing all of the fans and players for the ‘fail’ they ‘think’ they created with the current CBA. The players are the ones out there taking the hits, blocking the shots and scoring the goals. So yes, I think they should make more because THAT is who I’m going to watch, not Ted sitting on his rump in his box suite. The last lock out caused me to stop following hockey for a while, it really annoyed me. This one, well it may just cost the NHL a season ticket holder…

Enjoyed the post. Yes, I’m annoyed by the lockout and admittedly, more annoyed with the owners than the players at the present time. But I will survive, as you say. I’ll enjoy the rest of the baseball season and post season even despite the fact that my teams have been losing this weekend and are shaking my faith there. If the lockout drags on too long, I could take a trip to a Star Trek Convention that I’d otherwise skip due to the Caps being home that weekend. I’d, of course, find other things to do.
