Before leaving for Europe, Brooks Laich had some harsh words for Gary Bettman. But in his bio picture for the Kloten Flyers of the Swiss National League A, the man looks downright cheerful. And who can blame him? Look at the sweet helmet he gets to wear. The Kloten Flyers’ stürmer (striker!) is listed as being 188 centimeters tall and weighing 95 kilograms. The metric system makes people sound enormous.
Thanks to blondstrom for initially posting.
That collar would get on my nerves if I had to wear that for my team. Lol
I know this is kind of off topic but I was looking into getting a Backstrom or Ovi Dynamo jersey and was wondering if you knew the difference between sublimated and tack twill pro jerseys. I couldnt really find a definate answer and figured your guys might know.
Sigh the jersey matches his perfect eyes. This lockout needs to end!!!
He makes for a beautiful billboard 🙂
“The metric system makes people sound enormous.”

Is there a strike in the Swiss National League we don’t know about? A scab is someone who works for an employer when the employees go on strike.
