Re: Ovi assist: KHL regularly (once in one or two weeks) submits updates to their box scores if there’s a mistake and I believe it will be the case here.

Re: TOI: I think the only reason why he played that much is because they were down through most of the game. Coach Znarok is known for giving all lines pretty much equal TOI. This game was an exception. If you look, Malkin and Kovy usually play more than AO. Ovi is 29th among KHL forwards in TOI/GP and I’m sure he was out of top-30 until last night.

Should have gotten a second helper for the OTGWG as well. Regardless, don’t think I’d classify 15 points in 15 games (6g 9a) as “disappointing.” I just can’t believe Dynamo played Ovi for over 27 min. in his first game from having the flu.

Is it just me or does the KHL really just appear to be a pick up Men’s league for the NHL Star… like I played Travel hockey growing up and in the summers played in the for fun leagues .. to me KHL is the NHLs fun side league.

And as an update to you. Semin doesn’t play with Sokol, he’s with Torpedo, in the KHL. He’s got 2 G, 4 A, (6pts) in 6 games with only 2 PIM.
