To be fair Dynamo has more stiff entertaining competition in Moscow. There are 5 KHL teams in Moscow and suburbs plus 4 premier league football (soccer) clubs. And reported eternal traffic jams in Moscow are also not helping to draw fans on weekdays especially.
Interesting to see that, while having highest attendance in the world for Bundesliga soccer games, Germans like to attend hockey games despite not winning anything on International stage

Not too shabby when you consider they can only reach sixth place with perfect attendance. DM may have seen a higher average if NHL stars were there at the start of the KHL season.

I don’t understand why the Dynamo don’t draw better. If I were a resident of Moscow,. I’d be attending their games. Would be wanting my Ovi fix. (For the record, I’ve attended 2 Bears games this year not counting the AHL Showcase at Verizon Center since the Caps have been locked out.)
