It seems the danger of complete loss of NHL season invigorating players in KHL. Today, Malkin, now team captain, dropped the gloves while his team losing 2:3 and got 5min. And after his return his MM team won 5:3. Kuznetsov almost got a hattrick with 2 goals and not realizing PS, but he scored in SO win of his Traktor.

Currently, Ovi and Nicky seems really the best duo in the world.
However, it should be noted that in previous game vs. Sibir' they also
both scored, but, at the same time, were directly involved in almost epic collapse similar to last season vs. Jets and Rangers. When Nicky scored in PP on 54min Dynamo led 3:1. And what was more they got 4 min of another PP including 2 min 5on3. They didn't do anything with it. And when about 1 min left Sibir' pulled GT at even strength and managed to score two goals and forced OT. And then, eventually won SOs 1:0 when Ovi and Nicky came empty-handed. That was really embarrassing loss.Today, looks like, Ovi and Nicky made sure it wouldn't happen again.

Nothing is here in NHL, but it is becoming entertaining to watch KHL games.
