No wonder his goal total dropped from 24+ each of the previous 6 years to something like 8 last year. There are no 4th line forwards with 20+ goals/season. I wanted to keep him and rely on Oates to use him effectively. He’s a good presence in the locker and if he can get 15G or more he is worth what would have been a cheap price. It would also have kept some of the continuity between the players.
