Screencap by @VTCapsFan
Sitting behind Hurricanes coach Kirk Muller at tonight’s game was this intrepid young Caps fan.
Kudos to this young fella with the front row seats, but what is going with that there jersey? The captain’s “C” is up on his shoulder. Did we not have any smaller font sizes available for the C?
Our people on Twitter tell us this is not an uncommon thing for mens small winter classic jerseys. That’s unfortunate, but whatever. Enjoy the game, bud!
Aw, it’s okay, still looks good to me! haha
Yeah that’s just how some WC/Third jerseys are. It’s unfortunate.
ah hem, give credit where credit is due.
Also, I like that you tagged this with “Bad Stitch Job”. Nothing else is tagged with that. Leaving room for lots more bad stitch jobs
oh weak, I’ll put credit in– sorry!
Bad stitch job… Isn’t that what you call it when NBC covers a Caps game?
That was my fault. I copied your Twitter handle and then forgot to put it in!
Haha, thanks. Also, holy power play 2nd period.
No worries. When I first saw that on TV, I had to do a double take to see if the “C” was really half way onto the red..interesting placement.
Ovie must have stitched it himself
Mine is the same way, bought it direct from the NHL store when they were first released.
