We have some sad news to deliver to the ladies of RMNB: according to reader @MariannaStaplet one more Washington Capital player is off the market. Defenseman John Carlson proposed tonight to his long-time girlfriend Gina Nucci. And he did it in the most bro-rific way possible: while eating pizza at home.

Gina, obviously ecstatic about getting engaged to Carly, wrote on her Instagram page:

The best day of my life, literally every second of today!!! You’re more than any guy I ever prayed for, thank you god so much for this man!!! I get to spend the rest of my life with you! I can’t wait to be Mrs. Carlson!!!!!

Total cuties. Congratulations. Now hand me a slice of pepperoni.
