Right on the nose!
Evgeny Kuznetsov got high-sticked by Michael Del Zotto during a power play late in the second period. The impact was so violent that it almost ripped off Kuzy’s helmet.
Kuznetsov was fine. One minute later, as the Caps’ power play came to a close, Kuznetsov found Alex Ovechkin unguarded in The Ovi Spot, ready to score his 33rd goal of the season.
