Way back in April, Washington Capitals hunky forward Brooks Laich cut a video for TSN, explaining five things every man should know how to do. Well apparently he left one very important thing off that list: how to gut and filet a frigging fish.
Laich, who is vacationing with his girlfriend Julianne Hough whom he totally loves, gave tiny-men-in-training Bronson and Quaid a lesson they’ll never forget.
I’ve never played golf before, but I’m pretty sure I know a terrible golf swing when I see one. On Friday night, Washington Capitals defenseman Connor Carrick went to a Chicago golf course with some friends and– this is just an educated guess— played golf for the very first time.
Happy Gilmore was a natural in his transition from hockey to golf (putting aside). Carrick, not so much.
[Editor’s Note: Laurie C., a long-time RMNB reader, randomly ran into a Caps player today. I’ll let her explain.]
Today, my addiction to Wawa paid off. I stopped into the Joppa, MD store to grab a sub. While I was browsing the candy bars, I noticed this familiar individual. I only got a side glance but then I realized “Holy crap, that’s John Carlson….I think!” Immediately I looked around for Alzner, but he was nowhere to be found.
So I walked up to him, like a total goon ball and asked, “Are you who I think you are?”
He laughed at me and said, “Yeah, probably.”
