Earlier this week, Nikkie of flawlessrussians unearthed a photo of Ovechkin doing an interview after Dynamo’s 3-1 win against Amur Khabarovsk. In it, Ovechkin, just showered, faces the throng of reporters wearing his red Nike spandex undershirt (with new #8 logo), Capitals sandals, and a towel from the London Summer Olympics, where Maria won a bronze medal (while Ovi geeked out) in doubles tennis.
