So here’s something that happened. The Detroit Red Wings scored what was obviously a goal when you see it on instant replay, but they were not credited with said goal because Braden Holtby, aka Biscuit Hidesby, played a little chuck-a-puck. The referees didn’t have conclusive evidence that the puck crossed the line, so they could not overturn the original call: no goal.
Take a look at this.
A Red Wing player jams the puck towards the crease, it goes into the net, and then Holtby reaches over the goal line and tosses it out.
