When he’s not averaging 11 minutes of postseason ice time and killing penalty minutes like a boss, Capitals forward Daniel Winnik will watch your dogs for you.
At least that was we can infer from a tweet he posted Sunday after the Caps’ Game Six series-ending win over the Philadelphia Flyers. Winnik’s photo showed him cuddling with three dogs, except don’t think you’re going to get in on that action because he’s got a fourth dog serving as the bouncer.
Round one in the books. Now its time to watch @FamilyFeud with the doggies #dogsitting pic.twitter.com/slhIHsfrTQ

The two bulldogs are Winnik’s, as you can tell from his follow-up tweet advertising their A+ Instagram account.

Those dogs are wearing tuxedos, ya’ll. They are TUXEDOGS and I can’t handle it.
But seriously, Sonny and Mario are amazing.

Lest you think that’s the end of this story, notice too that the official Family Feud Twitter account is now stalking Daniel Winnik’s feed for more awesome dog photos just like you are.
@Danwinnik34 great tweet! Enjoy the #Feud

This is … kind of a big deal. Family Feud has become something of a lucky charm for the 2015-2016 Capitals.
Evgeny Kuznetsov wrote in the Player’s Tribune back in December that all he wants to do is “play hockey, come home. Watch the Family Feud, go to bed.” Braden Holtby called the Steve Harvey-hosted game show “a hit in the locker room” and said it’s become part of the team’s pregame routine.
Maybe this will be the connection that ends with the Caps going on Family Feud, fulfilling Evgeny Kuznetsov’s second-biggest dream and no doubt blessing the internet with more GIFS and Vines than we’ll know what to do with.
