The Red Hot Chili Peppers wore an Alex Ovechkin jersey on stage during a concert in Russia

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the biggest rock bands in the world. In July, the Peppers headlined the Park Live Festival in Moscow and did something special for their Russian attendees. Guitarist Josh Klinghoffer wore a signed Alex Ovechkin jersey from the Russian National Team during the show.

He wore it on stage while Flea did a handstand.

He wore it as Anthony Kiedis sang “Around the World”.

He wore it proudly during a Chad Smith drum solo.

Klinghoffer pointed to the 8 on the back of the jersey as he left the stage.

The jersey had what appears to be a special inscription from Ovi.
