Jay Beagle did his own version of the Twister pass and it actually worked

Red alert. Jay Beagle just made a skill play in Kansas City. I repeat, Jay Beagle skill play. This is not a drill.

Late in the second period of the preseason game between the Caps and Blues, the grinding, gritty center skated the puck around the net. It was at that point Beags blacked out and sent a perfect, no-look backhanded pass — a modified version of Evgeny Kuznetsov’s Twister pass — to TJ Oshie.

Oshie scored easily. What a world we’re living in.

Oshie also scored on a one timer in the first period after a great backhanded pass by Evgeny Kuznetsov.

But let’s go back to Beagle. Beags has assists on three of the Caps’ four goals. I know it’s the preseason, but what a night for Jay.
