A year ago, former Capital Brooks Laich was not adept enough at Instagram to follow his lineys, Tom Wilson and Michael Latta.
Fast forward to today, Laich is now a regular poster who conducts Instagram live sessions. I don’t even do that. Laich also frequently communicates with ex-teammates in the comments. Friday night, Laich and his former captain, Alex Ovechkin, continued their lovefest.
“To differently be, you must differently think,” Laich wrote on Instagram, getting deep.
But Alex Ovechkin wanted to talk about Laich’s mom jeans.
“Same jeans …back to the 2007😂😂😂,” Ovechkin wrote.
“@aleksandrovechkinofficial haha – coming from the fashion guru himself #russiantrackpants #everyday,” Laich responded.
Considering Ovechkin wears sweatpants to every major event, I’m going to go ahead and give Laich the decisive victory here.
