Here’s your daily reminder that Flyers fans are the worst.
Wednesday night, the Washington Capitals escaped Wells Fargo Center with a 4-1 victory over Philadelphia. The next morning, legendary photographer Bruce Bennett posted a photo from the game that he took from a hole in the glass.
As Holtby skates towards the boards during a stoppage in play, a fan holds up a photo of former Flyers goaltender Ray Emery assaulting the Capitals goaltender.

It was an inception moment for Bennett who took the picture of his own picture.
The fact that Flyers fans are taunting Holtby and the Capitals is confusing considering the Holtbeast is arguably the league’s top candidate for the Vezina Trophy again and the Flyers sit 24 points behind the Capitals in the Metropolitan Division standings.
If the season ended today, the Flyers would miss the playoffs as they sit five points out of a playoff spot.
Dear @NHLFlyers, No one will miss you if you don't make the playoffs. Continued bad luck for the rest of the year. Sincerely, @IanOland

S/T to Tyler Bensten for the heads up.
