NOT THE FACE: TJ Oshie bleeds his own blood after high stick from Chris Kreider

A week ago, handsome human Tom Wilson looked like he was starring in a slasher film after getting cut open during a fight. Now it’s babyface TJ Oshie who is bleeding.

The facial injury happened 7:56 into the second period. Oshie was forechecking in the offensive zone and was high-sticked by Chris Kreider.

Oshie crumpled to the ice, but eventually made it back to the Caps bench.

Oshie suffered an ugly cut by his eye. According to NBCSN’s Pierre McGuire, it was sutured at the bench.

Oshie would only miss one shift, during which, Justin Williams took his spot on the first line. Oshie finished the rest of the game.
