The Toronto Maple Leafs are going into Wednesday night’s game leading the series 2-1 against the Washington Capitals. How are the Leafs currently feeling? Nothing short of super confident. If the Maple Leafs win Game Four and take a series lead of 3-1, it will be their first 3-1 series lead in 54 years after they beat the Detroit Red Wings in 1963. Would that be incredible to see? Absolutely, except one problem. The Capitals cannot lose this game or all of Caps twitter might burst dramatically into flames.
With a win from the Washington Capitals, they will tie the series and bring it back for an advantage to the Verizon Center for game five. A win from the Washington Capitals will also lower my blood pressure.
Puck drop at 7 PM on NBCSN. Pete money will have your recap.
Toronto leads the series 2-1.

Storylines
- Kevin Shattenkirk thinks the Capitals are too horny to score on Freddy Andersen. Kevin. What are you saying. What are you doing.
- Braden Holtby was almost injured in practice today. It would’ve been a very peak Capitals move.
- When I die, I want Alan May to criticize everyone in my life who did me wrong like he did with Barry Trotz.
- Everyone wants to forget about that last game, but Nathan’s numbers after the game are pretty interesting.
- Capitals Hall of Famer Bobby Carpenter finished the Boston Marathon with Denna Laing!
- The Washington Post Express came out with a photo of me. A Caps fan as Edvard Munch’s “The Scream”.
- Barry Trotz is taking the blame for Alex Ovechkin not having lots of ice time. Which would be ridiculous if he didn’t take the blame…
- Again, I want to punch Steve Dangle in the face (I am weak this would not hurt) because of how happy he has been.
- Carrie Underwood sang the national anthem before the Nashville vs Chicago game and here’s a shocker…it was incredible.
- This is how Barry Trotz can help Auston Matthews score. If he does these things, we will know he’s probably a mole working for the other side.
- If you wear a tee shirt of a busted up hockey player’s face, you could get a signed jersey from them.
- Everyone was very rational after the Game Three loss and by “rational” I mean “not okay”.
- In a pretty weird move, the Las Vegas expansion draft will be part of the NHL Awards.
