Just a day after celebrating his father Mikhail’s 66th birthday, Alex Ovechkin gathered together with some of his closest friends, including now long-term teammate Dmitry Orlov, to celebrate the end of the Great 8’s bachelor life. (The actual end came almost a year ago, but don’t worry about that!)
Although the couple have been officially married for nearly a year, Ovechkin and wife Nastya are preparing to host a large wedding party this summer in Moscow to celebrate.

Ovechkin was joined by rapper T-Killah, brother Mikhail, and close friend Gus, who all wore the same t-shirt of a greying Ovechkin while skating with the Russian national team. Ovechkin wore a white shirt with a bold red eight.
On a completely unrelated note, earlier on in the day Ovechkin, posted an extremely affectionate tribute to Nastya.
“I love you so much, my little girl!!!!” Ovechkin said. “My better half!”
