Bryce Harper was at the Vegas Golden Knights game with Kris Bryant last night. He wore a Nate Schmidt jersey.

I think it’s safe to say that Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper has fallen in love with the sport of hockey.

Tuesday night, Harper was at yet another Vegas Golden Knights game – this time with Chicago Cubs superstar third baseman Kris Bryant. Both Harper and Bryant are from Las Vegas.

While Cubs fans were excited about this photo because of the pipe dream that Bryce could sign with Chicago next year, I was more interested in the jersey the former NL MVP was wearing.

Harper was rocking a Nate Schmidt jersey.

… I don’t hate it. To be honest, this is oddly appropriate. Schmidt, of course, is a former Capital and one of the most likable players in hockey.

He also leads the surging, first-place expansion team in ice time.

Bryce just likes winners. We do too.
