TJ Oshie had the absolute best cheering section as he ended his five-game point-less streak

TJ Oshie hasn’t been the same player since returning from his fourth-documented concussion in early December.

Ahead of Sunday’s matinee against the St. Louis Blues, Capitals head coach Barry Trotz tried to jumpstart the team’s co-leader in goals last season by putting him back on the top line with Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin. It worked.

Oshie snapped a five-game point-less streak all while having the best cheering squad at the game.

Oshie’s wife Lauren brought the couple’s two little girls, Lyla and Leni, to watch their papa play hockey. While at Capital One Arena, the girls took a photo in front of a giant poster of their dad.

Oshie’s authored two assists in the game, including the game-winning goal in overtime. With 43 seconds remaining in the extra session, Oshie gathered a loose puck and hit Nicklas Backstrom with a breakout pass. Backstrom scored on the resulting breakaway.

During the game, Lauren posted an Instagram video from their second row seats.

The three also went to watch the Capitals practice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex on Saturday morning.

Oshie made funny faces through the glass.

Maybe all TJ needed was some luck from his ladies.
