Who’s got two thumbs and could probably grow a beard if you just give him a month or two? Andre Burakovsky!
After months of consternation over whether Burakovsky has fallen off or is incapable of becoming a top-tier scorer in the NHL or if injury has spoiled his offensive creativity, Burakovsky delivered a 200-foot effort to dazzle Devan Dubnyk.

There’s no one else in this play. It begins with Andre, carrying the puck from behind the goal line and out of the zone, and it ends with Andre, slyly releasing a wrist shot from the faceoff circles to score.
It’s Burakovsky’s sixth goal of the season, and his first since way back on February 13, which was two days ago. He recorded a primary assist on Alex Ovechkin’s goal in the second period.
Andre still has a long way to go if he wants to meet last season’s goal total of 12, but if he play like this he’ll do it for damn sure.
