Alex Ovechkin’s St. Patrick’s Day jersey fetches highest price in Go Green auction

The Capitals wore St. Patrick’s Day themed green jerseys during warmups for their annual Go Green Night. The jerseys were auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Anacostia Watershed Society and Anacostia Waterfront Trust.

Recent member of the 600 Goal Club, Alex Ovechkin, saw his jersey fetch the most at $1850. Evgeny Kuznetsov ($1250) and Jakub Vrana ($1150) were the only other Capitals to crack the $1000 mark.
