Capitals center Evgeny Kuznetsov may not have played Sunday night against the Philadelphia Flyers, but he did get involved on social media.

After the Caps lost 6-3 at Wells Fargo Center, Evgeny Kuznetsov entered an NBC Sports Washington contest to win a signed Evgeny Kuznetsov jersey.

Yes, you read that right.

To win the NBC Sports Washington giveaway, Kuznetsov needed to submit two keywords said during the telecast. He just begged so he was disqualified.

This isn’t the first time a Capitals player has tried to win a prize involving a gift from themself. At the 2014 Caps Casino Night, Alex Ovechkin entered a raffle to meet Alex Ovechkin.
