The Washington Capitals are in Tampa Bay ready to face off against the Lightning in Game One of the Eastern Conference Final.

Nicklas Backstrom, who has an injured right hand, was held out of practice and will be replaced on the second line by Lars Eller. Chandler Stephenson will be the team’s third pivot for Game One.
The Capitals will see one new face in the lineup. Andre Burakovsky, who has missed the last month of playoff games with an upper-body injury, will likely return tonight.

He just needs final clearance from Caps trainers.

Missing from the lineup are Nathan Walker, who made his NHL playoff debut during Game Six against the Penguins, and Travis Boyd. Walker had a primary assist on Alex Chiasson’s second period goal. Boyd previously centered the third line.
