Following their triumphant gold medal win at the Winter Olympics in Peyongchang, the United States women’s hockey team were honored at the Stadium Series game. Their reception at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium was electric, though there was one notable absence from the lineup: star Hilary Knight.
When Saturday Night Live aired that same evening, the reason for Knight’s no-show became apparent. She’d joined her new BFF, Leslie Jones, for the show’s Weekend Update segment.
